APRIL 28, 2008 Working on our 3rd annual PANFISH tourament for June 7th.Register at CoolwaterAngler.com BLUEGILL in some canals big ones being caught on leafworms and waxworms. Crappie bite good some canals reporting catches.bigger fish in afternoon bite.minnows and pinkie's working best.most are moving to the lake now,anywhere from 6'to 10' along weedbeds.
PIKE & WALLEYE SEASON now open, weather was pretty cold for opener,some fish caught by the hearty people that went out with our 30 mile winds and cold temps.
Walleye: Alot of small pike reported, bad weather didn't help. |

Bluegills: Some still in canals, warm weather 2 weeks ago got things going,cold front scattered the schools for now. Perch & Crappie: Most being caught on lake now,work the weed lines,minnows doing best.
