Houghton Lake Fishing Report

Fish

January 27, 2012

A tagged walleye was caught on Sunday 8-21-11 in about ten foot of water. There are still over 40 tagged fish in the lakes in Roscommon County that are valid for the contest. This years contest will end in March 2012. To the left is the new video glasses record while you hunt, fish, or watch your grandson/daughter play sports. They come in black and camo frames. They come with a charger, hard case, usb cable, 4 extra lenses. These glasses also have a slot for a mini sd card so you can record for hours and hours. They are only $159.99 and we ship anywhere.

Walleye:
East Bay and North shore are doing very well in the morning or evening by the cut river.

Pike: A few are getting caught on suckers and golden minnows. Have been a few 30" plus pike caught.

Above is the i-Kam xtreme sunglasses they have a video camera built in.

Bluegills: No reports yet.

Perch & Crappie: Getting some good reports on Perch on the south shore on a blue shinner. Crappies are doing well on the north shore in about 10' of water.
